As of July 31, 2009 Loonatix Productions will no longer function as an Independent Record Label.  I, myself, will be retiring from the music industry as a whole; however, all artists will continue their careers as artists on their own.  This certainly was not an easy decision for me to make and I understand if some fans are disappointed.
 
We will be ending the Loonatix saga with a final bang by releasing Serial MCs, Volume 3.  The album features what was to be the Ruthless, “Return of the Redeye” album including special appearances by Ill Bill (La Coka Nostra/Non Phixion) and Mac Lethal (Rhymesayers/Black Clover).   Volume 3 will include all new tracks by ill e. gal, Ill POE, MC Rentz and Professor Fresh as well as other special guests to be announced soon!  The album will be released in September, followed by an album release party on Saturday, Sept 19, 2009 at the Rock in Maplewood, MN. Beyond the business/artist side of Loonatix, a majority of my time was spent creating our websites, t-shirts, fliers, posters, videos and album artwork which helped me discover a passion for Graphic Design.  I will continue to pursue this avenue with my own Graphic Design company, I-Define-Design.com.  This will provide me the opportunity to stay connected to my love and respect for underground and independent music, but in a way that I feel more comfortable with.

I’ve made some incredible memories and everlasting friendships in this endeavor that would have never happened without the existence of Loonatix.  I thank everyone for their support that they’ve shown us over the years and I hope you will continue to support the ongoing contributions of the artists in the future.
